People & Business :: Emerging Companies DSM to Invest in Anti-Infectives in China10:00 AM MDT | April 3, 2009 | DEEPTI RAMESH DSM has signed a contract with North China Pharmaceutical Group Corp. (NCPC; Shijiazhuang) to establish three separate joint ventures with NCPC involving nutritional products and anti-infectives in China. DSM says it will invest a total of $110 million in these initiatives. DSM says it will acquire a minority stake of about 10% in NCPC, a manufacturer of vitamins and antibiotics. The companies will establish a nutrition product jv for vitamin C and two jv’s involving anti-infectives active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates. DSM will hold a 51%...
