The transaction allows DSM Anti-Infectives to focus on generic active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and enables Deretil to specialize in the side-chain business, DSM says. Deretil will focus on marketing, sales, and manufacturing of side chains for the production of APIs, DSM says. Deretil’s main production plant is at Villaricos, Spain, and it has another facility in China. The world’s leading antibiotics are manufactured from raw materials...
