DSM Divests Deretil to Management

DSM says it has agreed to sell DSM Deretil, a unit of DSM Anti-Infectives, to a management buyout team. The transaction allows DSM Anti-Infectives to focus on generic active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and enables Deretil to specialize in the side-chain business, DSM says. Deretil will focus on marketing, sales, and manufacturing of side chains for the production of APIs, DSM says.
