The European Commission is reaching out to other bodies to promote conformity with Reach and share best practices. An agreement with Environment Canada, that country's regulatory body for chemicals, has been reached. Meanwhile, another Reach deadline approaches: classification, labeling and packaging data must be submitted by January 3, 2011. Dow Chemical expects its Advanced Materials unit (nee Rohm and Haas) to achieve double-digit sales growth over the next several years. Sales are projected to reach $16 billion by 2015.
