Grace’s quarterly results above expectations. The company posted earnings of $61 million for its fiscal first quarter ended March 31, up 12% from the same year-ago quarter. Excluding special items, earnings of 88 cts/share beat analysts’ consensus of 82 ct/share, as reported by Thomson Reuters (New York).
