Uralchem reports major drop in sales and earnings in first six months

Uralchem (Moscow), one of the largest nitrogen fertilizer producers in Russia, today reported a major drop in earnings and revenues for the first six months of this year. Adjusted Ebitda reached 11.6 billion Russian rubles ($309.2 million), 17% down on the year-earlier period, on 9% lower revenue of R36.5 billion. Adjusted Ebitda margin for the first six months of 2014 was 32% compared with 35% in the same period of 2013.
