Unipetrol reports improved earnings, petchems to benefit from most of investments

Unipetrol (Prague), a member of the Orlen Group (Plock, Poland), today reported an improvement in fourth-quarter profits  and said that the petrochemical segment has continued to be the key profit maker for the group. Unipetrol’s Ebitda in the fourth quarter of 2013 reached 246 million Czech koruna ($12.2 million) compared with an Ebitda loss of CzK3.5 billion in the year-earlier quarter.
