Tokuyama swings to profit

Tokuyama (Tokyo) has recorded a net profit of ¥2.02 billion ($20.6 million) for the fiscal first quarter, ended 30 June, compared with a net loss of ¥1.78 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. First-quarter sales increased by about 0.7%, to ¥64.36 billion.
