Stolt-Nielsen reports lower quarterly net profits, sales

Stolt-Nielsen posted unaudited results for its fiscal fourth quarter, ended 30 November 2012, showing net profit attributable to shareholders of $18.2 million, down from $22.2 million in the year-earlier quarter, and revenues of $510.9 million, down from $512.9 million in the year-earlier quarter. Net earnings more than doubled compared with the previous quarter but sales declined 1%.
