Shell's chemical sales volumes dip

Shell says its chemical sales volumes slipped 2% in the third quarter from the corresponding period of last year, to 4.62 million m.t. However, chemical sales volumes increased from 4.21 million m.t. in the previous quarter. The year-on-year (YOY) decrease reflects an accounting policy change and contract expirations, partly offset by higher trading volumes, Shell says.
