PhosAgro results benefit from strong global fertilizer demand

PhosAgro (Moscow), a fertilizer major, today reported net profit increased 70% in the first six months of the year, to 8.1 billion Russian rubles ($231 million), on 6% higher sales of R56.7 billion. Ebitda was 17% higher, at R16.2 billion, and Ebitda margin advanced from 26% in the first half of 2013 to 29% in the corresponding period of this year.
