Novozymes reports higher sales and earnings

Novozymes (Bagsvaerd, Denmark) posted a 9% increase in third-quarter net profit compared with the year-earlier period, to 568 Danish krone, on sales up 3%, to DK2.9 billion. Operating profit increased 5% year-on-year, to DK755 million. The company reports flat sales to the food and beverages industry and says sales to the bioenergy industry increased 22% YOY.
