Novozymes' net profit grows more than 6%, upgrades earnings outlook

Novozymes (Bagsvaerd, Denmark) reported a net profit of 591 million Danish kronor ($105.9 million) in the second quarter of the year, up 6.3% year-on-year (YOY). Ebit also grew by more than 7% YOY, to DK787 million, and revenue grew by just more than 1%, to DK3.06 billion from DK3.02 billion. The company reported a 20% YOY increase in net profit for the first half of the year, to DK1.29 billion, as a result of higher Ebit and lower net financial costs.
