Sales and net profits decreased 7.8% and 57.5% year-over-year, to €1.22 billion ($1.48 billion) and €60.6 million, respectively. Favorable exchange rates from a stronger dollar helped the company's sales in the second quarter of 2012, but overall sales volumes were slightly down compared with the corresponding period of 2011.
