Lanxess expects strong 2013 despite weaker first quarter

Lanxess has provided more information about the company’s performance last year and warned that first-quarter 2013 earnings will be substantially lower than in the corresponding period of 2012. Speaking exclusively to CW on the sidelines of the company’s annual results presentation, held recently in Düsseldorf, Lanxess CEO Axel Heitmann said that Lanxess would nevertheless have a good year overall in 2013.
