(TKSC; Al Shuʿaybah, Kuwait), the country’s only producer of styrene monomer, reported a $59-million net profit in 2012. Sales exceeded $667 million. “Despite several challenges, these profits were realized due to a number of elements relevant to stability in petrochemical prices and a solid customer base,” says Jehad Al Hajji, chairman of the board.
