Kraton reports net loss

Kraton Performance Polymers (Houston) reports a net loss of $5.6 million, up from a loss of $15.5 million year-on-year (YOY). Net loss includes the detriment associated with the change in the company’s deferred tax asset valuation allowance and a negative spread due to inventory accounting, the company says. Earnings per share were at a loss of 17 cts/share—slightly better than analyst estimates of a loss of 18 cts/share.
