Kemira posts higher earnings, lower sales

Kemira posted a huge increase in net profits in the third quarter of 2013, to €16.3 million from €1.4 million in the corresponding period of last year on sales down 2%, to €554 million. The sales decline reflects unfavorable currency exchange rates and divestments, Kemira says. Operative Ebit increased 1% year-on-year, to €47.5 million.
