KMG to close former OM Group site in California

KMG Chemicals says it will close a former OM Group (OMG) site, which was acquired along with OMG's ultra-pure chemicals (UPC) business earlier this year, site in Fremont, CA by 31 March 2014. The site manufactures and packages high-purity process chemicals for semiconductors, and its production will be switched to KMG’s plants at Hollister, CA and Pueblo, CO.
