K+S reports lower sales and earnings, expects full-year revenues to decline

Potash and magnesium products producer K+S (Kassel, Germany) today reported a 23.4% decline in second-quarter net profit, to €81.1 million ($108.4 million), on sales 10% down, to €785.7 million. Net profit was down mainly because of lower potash prices, the company says.
