K+S reports higher first-quarter earnings, confirms 2013 outlook

K+S (Kassel, Germany) reported a 13% rise in first-quarter adjusted group earnings from continued operations, to €190.2 million ($247.38 million), with revenues advancing 19%, to €1.28 billion, on strong fertilizer demand in that quarter.
