K+S increases capital spending for Canadian potash project

K+S has raised the planned capital expenditure for its potash plant project at Saskatchewan, Canada, to C$4.1 billion ($3.9 billion), which includes investments into the the company’s own infrastructure, modifications of plant components and infrastructure, and increased material and labor costs, the company says. The decision was voted on after a basic engineering and cost analysis of the major subprojects was completed, the company says.
