People & Business :: Earnings/Finance Huntsman Earnings Up Slightly on Polyurethanes Business10:02 AM MDT | August 1, 2012 | Lindsey Bewley Huntsman reported that their second-quarter net income is up 9%, to $124 million (58 cts/share), from the year-ago quarter, on adjusted Ebitda up 14%, to $365 million. Sales were virtually unchanged, at $2.9 billion. “More than 40% of our adjusted Ebitda was derived from our polyurethanes business, which experienced double-digit growth globally for our MDI products.
