Higher selling prices, cost controls, and improved sales drove the increases, companies say. Linde’s net income more than doubled, to €614 million ($834.1 million), on sales up 13%, to €5.9 billion. The company’s gases division reported Ebitda up about 11%, to €1.1 billion, on sales up 8%, to €4.6 billion. Emerging markets drove sales and earnings growth, Linde says.
