Dow Corning buys Mitsubishi Materials' stake in Hemlock Semiconductor

Dow Corning says it will buy out Mitsubishi Materials’ (Tokyo) stake in Hemlock Semiconductor Group joint ventures for $240 million. Dow Corning has purchased Mitsubishi Materials’ 12.125% ownership share in both Hemlock Semiconductor Corp. and Hemlock Semiconductor LLC. The deal increases Dow Corning’s stake in Hemlock Semiconductor Corp. to 80.5% and in Hemlock Semiconductor LLC to 100%.  Shin-Etsu maintains a 19.5% stake in Hemlock Semiconductor Corp....
