Celanese Earnings Advance 34%; Raises Full-Year Estimates

Celanese reported second quarter net income of $203 million, up 34% from the year-ago period, on sales up 16%, to $1.75 billion. Earnings per share were $1.66/share, beating analyst estimates of $1.43/share, as reported by Thomson One (New York)....
