Bayer CropScience makes India board changes, reports higher sales

Bayer CropScience (Mumbai) today reported board changes. Stephan Gerlich, vice chairman and managing director stepped down as of today. The company has appointed Richard van der Merwe as his replacement with effect from 1 February. The company also reported its results today. Revenues in the quarter ended 31 December 2013 were 6.54 billion Indian rupees ($104.5 million) compared with Rs5.88 billion in the year-earlier quarter.
