Arsenal's Accella buys German tire materials firm

Accella Performance Materials (St. Louis), a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital (New York), has purchased Zeus Tyrefill Systems (Dortmund, Germany) for an undisclosed sum, the company says. Zeus makes polyurethane-based tire fill and flatproofing products for off-road and heavy-duty industrial vehicles. The company will be integrated into Accella’s polyurethane systems segment. The deal is Accella’s fourth acquisition since it was acquired by Arsenal in 2012. The company has grown to over $300 million in revenues since then, says John Televantos...
