Sibur reports lower sales and profits in the first nine months

Sibur (Moscow), Russia’s leading petrochemicals producer, today reported a decline in nine months revenues and profits. Sales were down 0.7% to 197.6 billion Russian ruble ($6 billion) while profit declined 24% to R34.4 billion. Ebitda was 5% lower at R57 billion and Ebitda margin was 28.8% compared with 30.3% in the first nine months of 2012.   Sales of petrochemical products were 8% down at R87.5 billion but energy products recorded a 12% increase in sales to R103.2 billion.
