Quaker Chemical reports solid fourth quarter results

Quaker Chemical (Conshohocken, PA) announced a slight drop in sales, but a rise in net income and earnings per share in their fourth quarter results. Net income increased 25%, to $13 million year-over-year (YOY) with earnings per share of 99 cts/share. Analysts' estimates were for 76 cts/share, according to Thomson Reuters (New York).
