Earnings beat analysts’ consensus of $1.31/share, as reported by Thomson Reuters (New York). Sales rose 5.7% to $7.1 billion, on a 1.3% increase in volumes and 2% increase in selling prices. Sales rose in the company’s industrial and transportation, health care, consumer and office, and safety, security and protection services divisions.
