U.K. Chemical Industry Seeks Consensus on Nanomaterials

U.K. industry body the Chemical Industries Association (CIA; London) says it is progressing well with its initiative to bring companies together from along the supply chain to agree on the most suitable approach for ensuring a framework for the safe use of nanomaterials. CIA’s initiative, named the Nanotechnologies Supply Chain Forum, was first introduced in the summer of 2010 and now has about 15 core members interested in developing a formal U.K. position on nanomaterials safety and regulation.
