McKinsey Study Finds Chemical Industry is Net Saver of Greenhouse Gas Emissions (update)

A study undertaken by McKinsey and Company, commissioned by the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA), has concluded that the chemical industry is a net saver of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to the extent that for every tonne of carbon dioxide-equivalent (CO2e) the industry generates, its products conserve more than 2 m.t. of CO2e.
