Leading Polyolefins Firms Identify Water Scarcity as a Risk

Leading polyolefins firms, including Borealis and Shell, have begun to look closely at the risk of water shortages affecting their polyolefins manufacturing chain.   About 80 companies from a range of sectors, and who are all members of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), have undertaken joint research to develop software that identifies the locations where in future there is a high chance of water shortages.
