DSM to Buy Controlling Stake in Taiwan Coatings Firm AGI

DSM has disclosed plans to acquire 51% of AGI Corporation (AGI; Taipei, Taiwan), a producer of ultraviolet, curable resins and coatings. DSM estimates the deal will cost it about $64 million. The company says it will make the acquisition through a subscription for shares that are to be newly issued, along with a public tender offer.
