People & Business :: Corporate Social Responsibility CSB Meeting on Bayer Blast Causes Rescheduled for April 2311:11 PM MDT | March 22, 2009 | Kara Sissell The Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB; Washington) says it will hold a public meeting on April 23 to provide an update on CSB’s investigation into the explosion last August at Bayer CropScience’s Institute, WV methoisocyanate facility that killed two. The public meeting, originally scheduled for March 19, was postponed after Bayer attorneys told the CSB that disclosing details of the accident in a public forum violates post-September 11, 2001 laws that shield security information from being discussed in a public forum.
