AkzoNobel Declares $27-Billion Revenue Ambition

AkzoNobel, has announced today that it plans to grow revenue to €20 billion ($27 billion)/year, up from €13.9 billion in 2009, and increase Ebitda annually. A specific target date and rate of growth was not disclosed. The proposal includes doubling revenue in China from $1.5 billion to $3 billion; creating a significant footprint in India by growing revenue from €250 million ($337 million) to €1 billion; and outgrowing the competition in Brazil by increasing revenue from €750 million to €1.5 billion.
