People & Business :: Companies Wacker Completes Eddyville Cyclodextrin Expansion6:56 AM MDT | May 26, 2009 | Natasha Alperowicz Wacker Chemie says it has brought on stream its expanded cyclodextrin manufacturing facility at Eddyville, Iowa. The new facility increases Wacker's capacity for alpha and beta cyclodextrins by 50% and doubles its capacity for gamma cylodextrins. Investment in the entire facility totaled more than $21 million. Following completion of the expansion project Wacker will have the capacity to produce 7,500 m.t./year of cyclodextrins.
