People & Business :: Companies Univar Divests Performance Polymers Business11:22 AM MDT | July 6, 2009 | Vincent Valk Univar's Performance Polymers Business (PPI; Leominster, Mass.) has been sold to Ravago (Arendonk, Belgium), a plastics and elastomerics production and distribution outfit, Univar says. PPI will be absorbed by Ravago's Entec Polymers (Orlando, FL) subsidiary. The size of the deal was not disclosed. PPI was founded in 1989, and became part of Univar through the Ellis & Everard acquisition in 2001.
