People & Business :: Companies Unipetrol Merges Companies; Revamps Plants, Eyes Acquisitions11:18 AM MDT | August 27, 2007 | Natasha Alperowicz Unipetrol (Prague) says it has completed the previously announced merger of its Unipetrol Rafinérie refining and Chemopetrol petrochemical subsidiaries to form a limited liability company, Unipetrol RPA (Litvinov, Czech Republic) (CW, Jan. 17, p. 5). Unipetrol RPA combines Unipetrol’s 51% share in the ÄŒeská Rafinérská (Litvinov) oil refinery, which is co-owned by Shell (16.3%) and Agip (Milan) (32.6%); and Chemopetrol’s petchem and fertilizer production assets at Litvinov.
