Ube to Establish Subsidiary in Korea

Ube Industries says it will establish a subsidiary in Korea and the new wholly owned subsidiary dubbed Ube Korea (Seoul) will begin operations in April 2011. Korea is home to several leading semiconductor companies and electrical and electronic manufacturers and offers great potential as a market particularly for products handled by the Specialty Chemicals & Products business of Ube, the company says.
