Ube Establishes Subsidiary in Taiwan

Ube Industries says it has established a new subsidiary called Ube Taiwan (Taipei), and the new company will be involved in the market and sales development of Ube products in the Taiwanese market. Ube Taiwan was established in December 2011 and will start operating in February 2012. Taiwan is an important market for chemical products such as caprolactam, with strong growth in the electrical and electronic sectors and with the presence of many leading companies, Ube says.
