USDA orders additional review of Dow and Monsanto herbicide-tolerant traits

The Department of Agriculture (USDA) says it is extending its regulatory review of two genetically modified seeds in order to evaluate the impact of increased use of the associated herbicides, a move that delays the commercial launch of potentially blockbuster product lines for Dow AgroSciences and Monsanto.
