Toray, TonenGeneral Sekiyu Form Battery Separator JV

Toray Industries and TonenGeneral Sekiyu (Tokyo), part of the ExxonMobil Japan group, say that the required regulatory approvals have been obtained and all agreements have been executed for their previously announced 50:50 battery separator film joint venture. The jv, dubbed Toray Tonen Specialty Separator Godo Kaisha (Nasushiobara, Japan), began operation today.
