Teknor Apex completes acquisition of specialty PVC compounder

Teknor Apex (Pawtucket, RI) completed the acquisition of Viking Polymers, (Jamestown, NC), a custom compounder with a diversified portfolio of specialty formulations and a particularly extensive involvement in rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and related materials for building and construction, Teknor Apex has announced. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. Viking has a nominal annual compounding capacity of 23,000 m.t.
