People & Business :: Companies Syngenta Invests $50 Million in Argentina11:56 AM MDT | July 5, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Syngenta announced today that it will invest $50 million in a corn-and-sunflower-seeds processing plant in Argentina. The announcement followed a meeting between Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, president of Argentina, and Mike Mack, CEO of Syngenta. The plant, located in the country’s central region, will supply Argentina and other key markets globally. It will create more than 2,000 jobs, including 350 for direct employees.
