Symrise to open green chemistry laboratory

Symrise (Holzminden, Germany) says it is opening a catalysis laboratory to advance its strategic focus in green chemistry. The company says its scent and care business will use the laboratory to investigate the synthesis of new molecules using catalysis for the development of chemical processes and to optimize existing processes to reduce their environmental impact.
