Symrise achieves record sales and profitability in 2013

Symrise (Holzminden, Germany) says it achieved record sales and earnings during 2013. Sales grew to €1.83 billion ($2.54 billion) in 2013 compared with €1.74 billion in 2012, or 6% (10% in local currency). Ebitda rose 10% to €373 million in 2013 versus €339 million for the year-ago period. Symrise says that it managed to further increase its profitability in 2013. The company's Ebitda margin increased to 20.4% compared with 19.5% in the previous period. The target range for Ebitda margin in 2013 was "in the range of 19 to 22%,"...
