Sumitomo Chemical consolidates North American environmental health business

Sumitomo Chemical announced today that it has decided to integrate its environmental health business of its US subsidiary Valent BioSciences Corp. (VBC; Libertyville, IL) into the operations of another US subsidiary, McLaughlin Gormley King (MGK; Minneapolis). VBC, which develops and manufactures biological pesticides as well as insecticide products for household and public health uses, is owned by Valent USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo in the United States. MGK, a consolidated subsidiary of Sumitomo, also develops and manufactures insecticide products...
