Jean-Pierre Clamadieu, chairman of Solvay, in a press briefing in Brussels, said the main aim was to simplify and decentralize the group's structure. The company also unveiled its new logo and confirmed that the Rhodia name would disappear in all markets with the exception of in Brazil.
