(Seoul), a producer of semiconductor parts and electronic chemicals, have formed an equally owned joint venture, Iridos to manufacture pastes and pigments for use in thin film transistor liquid crystal displays (TFT-LCD) and organic light emitting diodes (Oled) in Korea, using nanotechnology. Production of pigments and pastes, until the formation of Iridos, was being carried out by the two joint venture partners, which are contributing assets to the jv valued at won20 billion ($17 million) in the three years through 2011.
